Lupe’s new mixtape Enemy of the State: A Love Story dropped this past Thanksgiving, the first of two (the next one, Friend of the People, will drop on Christmas).

I’m listening to it as I write and although I won’t go into a full on review, I’ll just tell you that Lupe is going hard on this mixtape. When you download it, listen to “Turnt Up” and “Fireman” and you’ll see what I mean. Download, listen for yourself, and enjoy! Lupe’s about to come back, and thank GOD because mainstream hip hop needs a healthy dose of consciousness.
